Awaiting Splash In

We slapped the bottom paint on yesterday. It took most of the day and we were whipped by sundown.Lily spent yet another day blending in at Nana Juana. She and Fern lego-ed all day under the riverside palapa, so much more pleasant that watching your parents paint and sweat. Many of you know of Lily’s talent for slipping into an English accent should the need arise so I am sure her new English friends, Fern and Noah, are giving her some ideas for more accurate inflection.

This morning, Randall went up the mast and replaced the anchor and tri-color lights. Now we are just waiting to get on the travel lift schedule to return to the water. The Ram dock looks pretty full but hopefully Foxtrot will fit in somewhere, maybe by Lucky Bitch who splashed earlier this week. How would you like to say that on the radio everyday? Anyway, between the name and the anchor paint color, I had one thought – “I can’t wait to meet her” – so hopefully we can spend more time chatting once we get splashed.
